Tamiya Price Increase

Hey gang I was watching a Andy’s Hobby Headquarters video (I know) and per him, Tamiya will have a ’price adjustment’ on ALL products mid month-July

So if you’re gonna order, now would be the time!

I think we can safely say in England it would be easier to list what isn't going to have price increase :)
For me model making is losing its way with £300 -£600 pound models now becoming common. To attract the next generation to the hobby we need more people like Mo here knocking out 1/72 master pieces to show the amount of money spent does not corelate to the quality of the finished model.

IF it's true I'd say stock up. Not much chance the prices are going down.

Contemplating a P-38...but don't know the exact version I'm going to need yet. Need to do more poking around and really want to get decals first, then find the kit for the decals. All I know is I think I'd like to do a PTO bird...so realistically a J would probably be a safe bet...
I probably won't bother right now though. Will have to have a think though.
Thanks for the heads up. :Drinks:

There is one Tamiya kit I'm looking at hard...I just have to convince someone to part with it.

The buzz is it will be 9-11% on paints, tools and finishing supplies and 5-6% on model kits. It should phase in at hobby shops as they sell their current stock and order new stock.

Cheers,
Rich
