My other A-10

This is Italeri's 1/48th scale A-10. I'm giving it to my son in law.

Had to make a gun.

I made molds from the Revell kit to replace the decal detail in the cockpit.

The base is a photo copy glued to a wood base.

My inspiration photo

The fan blades needed some work as compared to the Revell kit.


Sorry about the order the order of pics. Will do better next time.
The model is about 95% done

The A-10 looks really good but I have no idea where you saw one that had the fan blades painted black .

Never seen one personally .

Thanks! It's of an A-10 breaking off from a tanker over Afghanistan. The base for the stand is a section of that photo. And yes it is a cool shot. It can be found on Wikipedia under the A-10 search. It's a high def pic. Gary
