Adria CRJ 200

Hi!
This is Big planes kits Crj 200 in 1/72nd. I've been working on it for a few months now and I want to finish it in Adria Airways livery. Decals are from Nazca decals.

I started with fuselage halves, where I inserted spacers to get rid of wing to fuselage join.

Then I cut out the piece of fuselage where windows go and inserted transparent piece. On the inside I glued strips of styrene to make curtains.

Tail secton and winlets were next.

Then I shifted my attention to cockpit, where I added some scratchbuilt details.

Made a deeper whell well

and added landing and position lights

nose section glued

detailing of landing gear and wheel wells

Incredible amount of parts

and finished

I finished the engines today.

And this is where she sits right now

Moon puppy, that is some scrap clear resin. It was hard to sand it to shape, but was really good for polishing.

Finaly had some time to work on this one!
I added one more detail to the wheel wells. It needs some black paint, but I think it looks ok.

After a few coats of primer and a bit of sanding, I sparyed some paint on this bird. Its a mix of white and a couple drops fs sky gray and buff. This should be the right colour. Nose is painted white as on the real airplane.

It needs a gloss coat and then its time for decals!

Those brushes are there to help form "seal" around the tire and wheel well when the gear is retracted. They help airflow and cut down on drag and cabin noise.

Beautiful build, looking forward to seeing more.
