1/48 SB2U-3 Vindicator

I figured I would go with this unsung hero.

So I started by filling in the most obvious issue, the huge sink mark in the fuselage. I sanded it a bit and shot some primer over it to see if I need to do more FSR.



I also spent some time masking the canopies and assembled and painted the engine.



Not much done today but maybe more to come by Thursday.

This thing is full of sink holes and the pit parts fit weird but I did manage to close it up.

A bit worried about some of your canopy masks there, they could cause you some grief with bad paint bleed.

Oh a good old Wind-indicator. I was wondering if I was the only one who bought this esoteric subject.

Sad to say but this one is DIW. Putting the wings on the other day I tweaked the fuse and broke it three pieces. this being so thin I think I will have to really think on it to see if I can repair it.
