I do feel a bit out of sorts. But this thing has a lot of pieces. So I don’t feel too out of place. It’s kinda like a mini Z-M kit.

Variation of black basing. I use a dark grey instead of black. Then layered up the paint erratically with the Iwata brush (finer lines than the Patriot).

Year late, but we are calling this good enough.

Fine Molds kit. I still need to grab a pic of the box & sprues.....but I started fiddling with it as soon as I pulled pieces out of the box. :smack: I'm more that a little surprised I've have not built a F-14 yet since rejoining the hobby...or a Prowler for that matter. Time to fix that...

Fine execution of a classic kit. I remember building the blue stripe box version in my bedroom in high school.....the end result was obviously no where in the vicinity of yours. :lol:

I’ve got some floor wax I picked up a couple years back that I’ve used on a couple canopies with success…will have to see what brand it it was.

I’ll have to try to get the laptop setup while futsing around with some decals.

Not so much a gap, as the canopy sits a tad higher than the fuselage. The shadow makes it look worse than it is. I'm not going to worry about it. Onward and upward. The kit really isn't that great of a kit, so I'm not going to let myself get too bogged down with "minor" problems. But it's a...
