    IDF Pereh ATGM tank destroyer

OK so the highly esteemed Greg Kimsey printed a 3D Pereh tank for me! This is one of three obscure Israeli armored vehicle designs I am very much looking forward to building. I need to do some fender work and locate/drill some wheel holes, but overall it’s looking good!

    Meng Merkava w/cope cage

OK so here is where it currently sits. I really should have backed off and bought fruils but I’m committed. They aren’t beef ext but they are useable. Bottom run only as she’ll have the side armor attached. I think I may take a stress break and move away from this one for a bit. Not Meng as I...

    Meng Merkava w/cope cage

Yes Sir you are correct. Problem is actually doing it. Going to be getting them ready for assembly today, maybe even on the model, we’ll see how it all hashes out as the day rolls on

This is why I’m here!!! (Greg Kimsey)

This was a very closely held secret of the IDF. The Spike middle could hit targets miles away, even passing off the targeting to drones/etc

This is why I’m here!!! (Greg Kimsey)

so I have had for some time a severe hankering for three IDF vehicles, kits of which are made of union-tanium. Enter 3D printing, and Cults 3D. On a whim I asked Greg Kimsey if he could print a Pereh tank. Long story short, it arrived this week! By chance this file happens to be an ENTIRE kit...

    Meng Merkava w/cope cage

Bob, the run that I have pictured is as a result of building the parts up as individual cleats, then using an Exacto to cut away the pins, and pressing them together. This appears to work quite well as you can see, and is how I am proceeding

    Meng Merkava w/cope cage

There is no pin, per se. the Meng kit has each track cleat in two halves (upper/lower) with the pin built in (parts F1 & F2 in the pic)

    Meng Merkava IV kit question

Ok so this may be a Saul thing!! I have a question regarding the Meng Merkava IV kit as shown. The kit instructions call to make 95 links per side, but the kit gives you only enough to make 84 links per side. What gives? Has anyone else built this model? Any input appreciated!

    Meng Merkava w/cope cage

I struggled heavily with this. As this models tracks are different from other Merkava modes, basically my only option are metal links. Current lack of EBay access (long story) means Fruils which are nearly the cost of the kit when delivered. My way to deal with this is going to be to build the...

    Meng Merkava w/cope cage

Ok so here is where things get “interesting.” This what the instructions depict doing to build the tracks. The issue is that you have to connect to the next set as you build. That requires several sets of hands on a teeny part!

    Here’s a scratch-build model idea

Yeah it’s just downright goofy. It basically covers using P39 Aircobra CANNONS from the Nose on PT Boats. Would make a good what if tho’

    Tamiya M1 Super Sherman

    OK, so, here is where she sets. This is with the kit decals (as I killed the others), along with pin washes, streaks, and then powders. May yet add a bit to it, but really feeling good about it;
