I have been splashing a bit of paint around - I cheated a bit (panicking about the deadline) and got a can of Tamiya spray paint - Wooden deck tan and found that XF 55 Deck tan is not the same colour. Mixed 50/50 with Desert yellow it will be close enough for touch up work Still not so sure...

Quick update - mojo has found the afterburner :laugh: Chassis built and waiting for primer Some figures are ready for primer and paint - I'm not sure who gets a ride untill it's done and see who fits in where I have found the Mini Art figures dont like Tamiya Extra thin cement...

Being a bit backwards and all, I thought I'd start this one from the back :cheer: My theory is I can detail the back with what limited time I have and (hopefully) inspire myself to build the cab/chassis to sit it on. The tail gate can be hinged, but I doubt it would last more than 2...

Hi Rob, I've been using a product called Vectra - with excellent results. An acrylic wooden floor polish, I went to a flooring shop and got a 300ml bottle for $10. Milky white but drys clear, dip canopies etc, can be sprayed through an airbrush and even diluted with water. It gives a HIGH-GLOSS...
