As this was designed for gaming, it is a LOT tougher than a regular model would be. It looks to be fairly nicely detailed though which should make it a good teaching aid. Who makes it?

I get it big, does NOT mean it is better. This kit was designed so that the wings could be disconnected and removed. I get it, but if you are going to do that, you better get ready to do a lot of work to make just a fine join line where they go together.

No it was all grey plastic. Eduard had a photo etch panel with some coarse wood grain, but it was pretty bad. The Quinta Studios instrument and seat belt set had a nice looking wood grain panel that could go on it, but it didn't do the whole part.
