Finished. Nice little kit.

I don't know about armor kits. Everything has gone way up. One example, I bought the airfix 1/72 wellington when it first released in 2018. I paid 36 for it. That same kit is now 43. The newest version is now 45. All this is form sprue Brothers.

While waiting for the mustang build in April, I'm working on the ArmaHobby 1/72 Hurricane. Since the mustang I plan on building is the 1/72 Armahobby P51b, I wanted to see how the Armahobby kits build. Not bad. Fit is good. Just realized the lighting sucks. Freaking phone camera.

Looking good! I'd like to do more helicopters. Where to keep them with the rotor span keeps me away.

Calling this one done. I left the finish glossy and went back and forth on doing a wash. Despite the alignment issues, the kit does have nice detail. So I decided to do a wash to highlight it. I did not use the kit supplied PE one. Found a guy making some 3d resin printed ones. So much better.

That's the one. I think I have a decal sheet with a blue nose mustang with teeth. One of the early 352 ride. Don't quote me on that, as I do t have the sheet infront of me at the moment.

Depending on when we start, I have the new armahobby P51 coming..it even has a teeth option for decals. If not that, it will be some eduard or revell mustang.

Off to a good start. Love late War luft stuff..makes one wonder what could have been.

Nice! How's the overall fit of the kit?

All markings and stencils down. Had to buff the gloss coat, had some problems with it. Now some minor touch ups and another gloss coat. Not sure if I'm going to do a panel wash.
