I think the tool box is ready for paint. I ordered some printed wrenches, along with a hammer or two.

When do you think you'll screw up? Lol. I know what your thinking...well, Tim, if I knew that I wouldn't screw up, right?! It's an interior of a tank, it's supposed to be bland.

Thanks Greg. This kit is going to fight me to the bitter's end, but I can be stubborn as hell too, though!

With the shells added to the turret rack, I glued the turret top on. The Girod style turret was cast in two pieces, with the top piece being welded to bottom. Since the turrets were cast a felt the need to add some texture to it.

James (jknaus) surprised me with some 37mm shells and some spent casings he printed. THANK YOU JAMES !!! He also printed the racks for the hull, but I am to far into the build and can't get the kit racks out now. However, I'll be loading up the turret rack with them 😎 As James suggested I...

I'm wore out just reading about this trip, let alone actually attempting it...haha. I see your still having issues with uploading pics, though. I'll throw in yet another solution. I have "SNAPSEED" photo editing app. It's free and SIMPLE. The SIMPLE part is, any photo you take and have in your...

You made the kit look like a million bucks. Just an excellent build! I still have Granddad's sign that was on his shop building.

What an awesome build, Bob! I love it 👌👌👌 Reminds me of my Granddad's truck. His was a faded green, white roof. Had 1x board rails on the bed that read 'Simpson's Sevice Center'. His JD repair business back in the 70's.

I'm a lefty. I haven't had an issue with the blade lock screws. Unlike other tools that are naturally designed for the right handers ...skill saws, chopsaws etc...

That saw is, 40+ year old. I've had it since my silversmithing days in the 80's. Funny how such a simple tool can be so effective!

Turning my attention to the hull mounted toolbox...with molded on brackets!...haha. This was a job for my trusty jewelers saw, which made quick work of it... I'll make a toolbox.

The 37mm gun is in. The turret hatch doors needed some details, like the latch lock. I've seen a couple of different styles used. I did the one for the cast Girod turret. The leather strap handles will be added after the paint is on. The cupola hatch is done and textured. The turret, being cast...
