What was the callout number for the Orange yellow? I'm getting my ducks in a row for the up coming eduard wildcat. One option is a yellow wing bird. This is what I have on hand ,GUNNH024N Gloss Orange Yellow - Gunze Sangyo Hobby Colors Aqueous/Acrylic Paint but it is more orange than anything...

    Eduard 1/48 A6M2 type 21

Its a fantastic kit. This is the 2nd one I've built. Highly recomend it! Yes, then a base...and palm trees...coral runway...buying scenery stuff...and on and on.. LOL. I really want to do that with one of my models someday.

From my limited research on zeros, they were either built by Mitsubishi or Nakajima. The paint varied between the two. All paint was MRPs new japanese line. I believe the type 21s were built by Nakajima.

    My other "hobby"

Yeah..I planted a garden once...then I went to the grocery store. Stuff magically grows on the shelves!! LOL. But really I helped my grandfather many years with his garden, they require a lot of work and water depending on what you grow.

I always thought the xp-72 was one sleek plane and how it would have done if it had seen action. Can't wait to see it in NMF.

    Arma Hobby 1/72 wildcat

Paddy, thanks for the compliment. I agree, it's hard to pull of a 1/72 kit. Revell and airfix in that scale come to mind with huge panel lines. I'm sure there are other brands. Those are just the ones I have built in 1/72. Rino, this kit had one piece upper and lower wing halves. No flaps, if...

    Arma Hobby 1/72 wildcat

I confess..I don't know if the antenna wires are correct. That's how the box art depicted it. I liked it and just ran with it. Maybe the pilot is a redneck. And I know from personal experience us redneck love running wires all over the place! 😆

    Arma Hobby 1/72 wildcat

Really liking these armahobby kits. Some fit issues with the wings to body. Had to trim the alignment tabs a lot. The landing gear assembly was especially finicky. But not a knock on the kit itself. Will do more.

Could you even see the prop angle of a spinning blade?. Have you considered using a prop blur to simulate a turning prop? She's looking good. Looking forward to the finished bird!

    On-line hobby stores

I have bought from Mega hobbies.. but I find their prices on the high side. I usually only buy from them if I can't find it anywhere else.
