    Tamiya P51

If doing a NMF bird I use either Gunze Silver. 08 is the number. Or Tamiya LP-11. The parts of a mustangs wings that were not left NMF from the factory were painted silver. I cant remember off the top of my head the exact callout.

    Alclad at Wholesale?

So If I was to buy I need to buy a minimum of six bottles? And thats a fair price. I have not used alclad for a while, as my stock was fairly significant and I switched my NMF methods. But I am running low.

Get ready for a photo dump!!! Spent well into last night and this AM finalizing this exhaust design. The back part gave me fits. But after copious amounts of diet coke I pushed through! 😆 This is pretty much the final form, I have tweeked it on and off today. This is the render of my design...

For my phrozen printer the files are stored on a USB stick..just convert the file into what the printer reads on your main computer, transfer file to USB stick. Then plug USB stick into printer, select your file and go. The USB has to remain plugged into the printer. Those look great. This 3d...

My foray into the world of 3d printing.

Indeed it is..and im just getting started. I would love to be able to design a civilian aircraft say one of the Cirrus versions or a Vans RV10. After messing with this for about two weeks now, there's no doubt in my mind that it could be done. You could even 3d print a mold for the clear parts...

Just a test print. It's somewhere between 1/48 and 1/32 scale. I haven't nailed the design yet or figured the exact measurements for 48 scale. Really just wanted to see how the details are.

This is a resin set that I bought awhile back. See that ear on the back...its actually under the engine panel. barley visible. But on the eduard kit you see the whole thing.

My foray into the world of 3d printing.

I'm working around the eduard 1/48 mustang, but really should work with any mustang with some mods. I did subscribe to an online database that has TONS of blueprints. I have to scratch my head why eduard did the exhaust the way they did after looking at multi blueprints. The back half that is...

Thats looking really good. I never was very good at scratch building. I guess my mom was right that I was going to fry my brain on model glue at an early age. LOL All you need now is a 3d printer some Cad software and your set!

What are you using to wash your prints with. After getting more and more involved in this, I've been eyeing a wash and cure station. Also are you using alcohol or something else? I'm using Fusion360.

Yes it hollow, except for tubes to keep the brushes vertical. And I forgot about the drain holes...fu$*$*$#* engineer that designed this thing...LOL I made some holes and let it drain then put it outside for the day in the sun.. seems ok now.
