Well the eyes so far see 20/20 and the Miata is done. There are some spots on the finish but since this is my second car build in 50+ years and I am quite satisfied. It is different for me to do a high gloss finish and I am thinking of maybe doing another car in the near future.

not bad 20/25

The last couple of weeks I have been clandestinely building this Mazda for a friend of my wife. Ultimately it is all black and quite a challenge for me because I don't really do gloss paint jobs well. Since I got the eye surgeries out of the way I thought it time to finish the black paint...

I had my second cataract surgery today and if all goes well I'll be back at the bench real soon.

I caught this while trying to get the mojo back and knowing that we have 2 outstanding cycle builders I thought this would be fitting.

Yesterday was my last eye exam before the surgery. I got my dates and all the paper work done so all I have to do is wait until the 25th of Oct for the first one and the second is the 22nd of Nov. I am looking forward to getting this done. Onward ho!
