Very interested to hear others opinions ?

I like Doog's approach. What he said at the last rings true to me: "In short, my issue with all the panel shading nonsense is that it only pays attention to a specific feature of the aircraft’s surface, at the expense of the rest. As nice as the rest of the work may be, it’s a distracting and...

    AMT 1/48 A-20B

I have been making slow progress on this one. Time has been going into my R/C activities and some work building a brick patio, but I sense this one will come together soon. Most of the interior work is done. I added the Vector resin and PE interior parts, and took some time to make resin...

    Tamiya Grumman F-14D Tomcat

Lots of detail there Greg. I think your photos need more light, there is lots of noise in the image and that is usually because of a high ISO setting. Brighter light means lower ISO and less noise.

Woodland Davis Aeromodelers Wings of Victory

Not this one, it has an un-scale powered gear. Hard to get your hand in there when it's flying. But I guess Rich could wobble it a bit on purpose, I'll take it up with him.

Woodland Davis Aeromodelers Wings of Victory

Paddy, I usually want more blur than that but now that I have done some that way I do like it, Getting the right blade blur on helicopters is much more difficult because the shutter speed being slow makes camera movement a real issue.

Woodland Davis Aeromodelers Wings of Victory

We've been doing this event since the late 90's or longer, here is a link to photos from yesterday, and a few photos. The photos below are all custom built giant scale models with wing spans over 80 inches, a few of the ones in the link are smaller...
