I asked since a separate head is offered and I remember those polypropylene figures being a bear to drill, file, sand, glue, and paint.

Micro chains and one of three BGA solder balls arrived. From the top left, the micro chains are 45, 30, and 22 links per inch. Already blackened and ready to paint. The bottle holds 0.3mm BGA solder balls while the other two on the slow boat are 0.2mm & 0.25mm. They will be used for domed rivets and bolt heads.

Some new kits and books have arrived. I have a couple of books to review. The most exciting one is a brand new book on Jasta 14. Review soon.

Wow! Nice haul. That would be a large chunk of my annual hobby budget right there.
Well fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, I get a small pension for being broken beyond economic repair (Bebered) for serving and after fighting with VA. So I use a portion for books and modeling seeing as there is very little I can do anymore. Keeps me going.

Nice. I've got a couple of the Gordon books. I'd still like to get the MiG-21 & MiG-25/31 ones if I stumble across a deal on them.

I have quite a few of Yefim Gordon's books and I found them to be compilations of other Russian author's works which are translated and put into a readable format. When Dmitriy Komissarov is a co-author, there might be some original content added. I say this as I have many of the publications found in their bibliography section and complete paragraphs are lifted and translated directly, Since many Russian publishers don't bother translating their work into English, Yefim found a demand he is filling but errors in the original source work makes its way into 'his' compilations.

Will I continue to buy his 'work?' Only when I save at least 40% of what suggested retail is quoting.
