Sooo after using bits from one kit to fix another kit I had some spare bits left over from one kit. What do you do with a modelling mojo bottoming out and partially built, mostly buggered up kits? Glue them together into something new (who knew?) I drew the model first on paper, liked the idea so went ahead and built it. This is my version of what could happen if De Havilland Canada (or Viking air) re-powered, stretched the fuselage, longer wings, low noise scimitar blades..etc. I was going to add retractable U/C but ya gotta stop the insanity somewhere.
Here's where I'm at 3 days in;

The kit windows are poor fit and terribly thick. My last Twotter got scotch tape windows so I’ll do that again here, and a plunge formed windshield to eliminate the badly shaped, thick, nasty, and just plain yucky kit windshield.
