Volume 40: Büssing’s schwere Pz.Spähwagen Part 3: schw.Pz.Spähwagen (SdKfz.234) (8-Rad Tp.) and variants
The newest Nuts and Bolts volume 40 is out and its another winner. This is the third volume on the Schwere Pz.Spahwagen.

Weighing in at 208 pages in both German and English text we have the usual format from Nuts and Bolts. Giving history, technical specifications, period and current pictures and of course some beautiful colour plates. In the modeling section Tony Greenland and Vinnie Branigan again post some models. At first I thought there were only 3 pages and very few pictures. But the end of the book has a complete section of both Tony's and Vinnie's builds in great detail as we have come to expect. Fantastic work on these. There is also a full page table showing kits and detail sets in 1/35 scale by manufacturer.
We have 365 photos (175 contemporary photos from manuals, 150 colour photos, 40 models), 18 camouflage schemes, tactical markings, table of organization (KStN) according to the website.
The drawings and pictures are all high quality. The colour plates are very well done also.

You cant go wrong with a Nuts and Bolts reference manual. They are bar none the best refs I have owned. You can get this book at your favorite book store or model shop that sells refs. Or get it right from Nuts and Bolts for €29.90. The Last Cavalry has it for $40.00 while RZM has it for $49.95.
