In another thread, Ian completed a model he started in 2011.
It got me thinking about some of my models I started a long, long, long time ago and I only pull out when I feeling really up.
According to my records, this is the oldest shelf queen I have. I started this model in 1981.
Started long before digital pictures, long before phones with cameras.
When I started this model, I had no clue as to what I am doing or how I was doing it.
I had read many articles in magazines. 19 years and 17 stiches later, here are the first pictures taken back in 2000, with a digital camera (the SD card was a 3.25 floppy).
You will notice that I did not know what I was doing with the camera.
The jet engines were made from brass tubing.
The landing gear doors were made from Brass sheet.
