Me too.
If you watch youtube on the C-97 prototype, they show them backing a truck and a jeep into it.
I must be the bubble fuselage that makes that possible.
The wings and tail area are from the Academy B-29, it still has the tube and rear area in the kit.

That's one of the first things I noticed looking in the box.

I remember well walking thru a C-97 at the old Florence Air and Space Museum and in awe how big it was. That aircraft is parked off the side of the runway at Charleston AFB now, no one can get to it now.

Wow that C-118 is impressive! Looking great so far! I also thought that the C-97 would be bigger; I built the civilian version B-377, so I could compare them. I also have a C-97 in the stash; once I get over what the B-377 put me though, I'll give that one a shot.

Rock and roll Frank! That looks magnificent and it's great seeing this coming along. I came to a screeching halt on my space shuttle due to the missing forward bracket, but I'll be looking to move ahead on that soon.
