Fw 190 D9 winter scheme

I am building the Hasegawa Fw 190 D9. It's the Papagai kit but I am looking for something totally different. I have some decals from their Jabo kit so I was thinking of going with those but with a bit of a twist. I am thinking of doing a winter scheme of sorts but the winter colors are hard to pin down. So far this is the only one that I have come up with. http://www.hsgalleries.com/gallery04/images/fw190d9jt_title.jpg

I am wondering if any of you would have something that may be more interesting.

If you want factual, here is scheme we don't often see as a model subject:

Regards,

I like the idea of a Russian scheme, haven't seen one of those built.

If you like a "what if" scheme and a challenge, you could try this

It would certainly be different!!! :D

That Russian scheme is something to ponder but I don't think the lozenge camo will be happening soon, Warren.

Just a standard RLM scheme with a white wash on top... and chip de hell out of it :bat

Or ,

Plenty of paint schemes to choose from.

I have to agree with Piet . I've never found a FW 190 D to be boring :love . Throw on some whitewash and anything is possible .
Of course that's just my opinion . They varied sooooo much :good:

Cheers, Christian B)

I can understand that. As Piet stated, there are a lot of cool Germen schemes as well on wings palette
