It has been quite a while since I did this.

This will be a long term, in depth project that will have quite a bit of work.

The subject...

That must have been a treat Gary.

Good luck with this Joe, you going to chop this one up?

Gary to be honest I am a bit jealous when I see or read of folks getting the chance to view these aircraft in real life. I am much too far out with no windows of opportunity to do the same.

This will be constructed as a cut away project. I just hope I can do it justice.

There's a lot in there Joe, might I suggest to do it along panel lines and represent the correct skin thickness?

I imagine you ready have the cutaways but I have a book of them if you need the 24....

Thanks all for following along.

MP that is the plan with this one. I believe all my "cuts" are panel lines with this one.

Saul, Mike, I have some stuff including four or five different cut away drawings. I am still a bit short when it comes to the tail turret.

Been a while hasn't it....

Must be about time that I show some progress.

First up is to play with the fuselage. Had to try to figure out first where the cuts would have to be.

The next step is to remove the interior detail from the fuselage interior.

Now the fun begins.

The interior begins with the addition of styrene strips to simulate the interior smaller vertical framing and the horizontal stringers.

This is the first part of this.

Next up will be to begin the deconstruction and construction of the details.

Part two of the update.

Beginning working on the kit details was to remove them.

This is what the kit has.

Then the reconstruction began. First up is a little work on the cockpit.

Looking at the seat there is something missing. On the right is the kit seat and on the left my version.

Some additional of what little I have accomplished.

I did also play a bit with the wing area as this section will be visible.

Beginning with the inner space between the wings.

And then moving on to some of the smaller details, bounced around quite a bit at this point.

I also began to construct the radio set.

More updates hopefully soon.

Nice job on that seat! See if you can get that one rib in the bomb bay straighten out. Looks like it's going to be right in view of one of your cut outs.

Many thanks.

MP the offending strip is in place I am afraid. I hope that the addition of details in the bomb bay will hide it for the most part.

Looks like a fine time to invest in Evergreen stock!
