First off- much thanks to Italeri for the sample to review.

The kit is nicely packaged- and includes the decal sheet, one clear sprue, and three gray sprues.
Sprue A contains the main fuselage halves and the engine exhaust covers, as well as some cockpit parts.

Sprue B contains the majority of the parts for the rotor, interior, and external ordinance.

Here's a close up of the instrument panel...

Sprue D contains more of the same- exterior fuselage covers, and a lot of the more fiddly parts:

Clear parts seem nicely detailed-

Decal sheet contains stencils, decals for the interior panels, and 5 possible schemes- one for the Royal Army Air Corps in the UK, a US Army scheme, a Japanese Ground Self Defense Force Training School, a United Arab Emirates AF, and a French version.

The instructions seem straightforward and cone with a separate guide for the 5 schemes and for painting and stencilling the ordinance.

Looks to be a pretty nice build and I do look forward to getting started-- sprayed some flat black on the interior parts and rotor blades last night!

The Army Air Corp ( CRAB AIR to their friends) couldnt believe their luck when they got the Longbow, I look forward to watching your build (y)

Thanks guys...

Just closed the fuselage halves up and waiting for glue to dry ;)

With firewood out of the way and the weather keeping me in, I have been able today to work on my many projects. This is one of the three reviews I am currently working on...and after a pre-coat of the base color just to check on details, I've found that the fit had been beautiful up until adding the sponson fairings...they supposedly slide over the stub wings but it weren't a very nice fit ;) Out came the clamps ;)

Once that all dries it's onto the rotor assemblies...

Thanks Duke!

Well...been sick and have since started winter break so I've been working on finishing a bunch of kits...this one just finished the decal stage...on to weathering and fiddly bits...

That is some neat stuff! I liked the box art...made me youtube this weapon's performance, and it is indeed impressive:
