1) That is the museum of museums in my book.

Ah the memories! My sister lives out that way and her husband is an air traffic controller at Pensacola Intl. Airport. I've gone there several times! I'm thrilled to see you having so much fun!

Lookit!! A no-lie Curtiss Hawk 81-A Flying Tiger!! I popped the radio compartment open (nothing was in there) to make sure it wasn't a fiberglass replica! This is the for-real P-40B!! :drool

I restrained myself, at the bidding of my Uncle Gene and My Honey Donna, not to climb up on the wing, and peek into the cockpit, of the Me-262, like I did in Dayton with My Dad. It's not that difficult, but you get escorted from the Museum, most rapidly.

We brought back a Sago Palm for our rustic country home. It is perfectly at home next to my Bamboo Cup from Dominica, and my picture of CVE-111, USS Vella Gulf. Guess what the Palm's name is?!!! :hmmm

Great pics again Rhino! Man, the memories! I particularly love the rainstorm shots and the Waffle House is DA BOMB!! Gotta be my all-time favorite 'greasy spoon'! I envy you being able to eat there, we don't have them here in California. Every time I go home to Florida to visit family, I have to go to Waffle House! :drool :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the name of the palm is Vella..... :hmmm :D
