Well if we go through Springfield, which we would have to do, it's only a 16 hour drive!

Either way you would have to pass through Memphis Bob! Though the St. Louis track is a little easier to get to the Kansas City area.

No reason Pappy Bob shouldn't go as it is only about a 3 hour drive from Springfield.

But then we all know about those 3 hour tours right?

Modelfest is historically a fine show to visit! Really reasonable vendor pricing (Ralph & O'l Joe)
Anyone who flies into DSM, can bunk in and ride along with me.
