Wow !

So, whats your secret?

Do you live down wind from the nuculer power plant, and have 6 eyes and like 20 fingers or something ;) . Honestly, looking at this makes me want to just go back to building out of the box again as I know I will never even come close to something like this.

Just excellent.

Told y'all. B)

The tire chains were one of my favorite parts when I first saw this build on the big A. I though that I was the only one to notice that no aftermarket manufacturer has ever made accurate resin tires/tire chains (that I know of) All seem to use the same chain for the grip sections as the attachment sections. Looking at the snow chains for my tractor and any WWII photo, it's apparent that two distinct styles of chains were/are used.

Excellent eye for detail Randy, most impressive.

No, it is actually much closer to what one would find in the nose of a Lancaster. The Staghound used a Frazer-Nash turret, FN-82 IIRC.

Moon Puppy, that was never my wife's blender....at least she hadn't used it for awhile...really long while...you think the chicken manure in the potting mix will affect the flavor of frozen adult beverages?????

John, let me see what I can find in my pics on the tarp

Sherman 18, Thanks

Gary, Glad you like it

James, Thank you (whats the badger song?)

Hi Ken, thank you for the comments, it was frustrating looking for the right chains! the chains were doing great until I had the brilliant idea of dunking them in a blackening solution. The small wire that I used to hold everything together of course disolved completely long before any blackening happened  Thank you for the turret answer!

Hi Moon Puppy, That is straight potting soil mix, there's dirt, wood chips and chicken parts in there, use the blender to reduce the bigger wood chips and clumps down to scale. It is one of the best "forest ground covers" I have found. The organic stuff won't have any of those stupid foam pellets in it.
