Yes, another that I may not finish!

I lost the photo and got angry as I did a lot of progress...

The Revell kit is a nice one but the lower wing center section is missing the distinctive gull shape. As you can see, I considered using the mid section of an Academy kit, the Hasegawa (but the Mk VIII did carry a sharkmouth), and decided to graft in the section from the Airfix model.

Strangely enough, the Airfix model is accurate in shape, just super plain in details! It is also very brittle but that could be due to the age of the model.

Well, found the thread, decals, and Hasegawa's Spitfire Mk VIII but can't find the kit I worked on!

Anyway, I got the decals for Chappie so that will be my 48th scale choice and hopefully I will find this kit (Revell updated with Airfix parts).
