The Eagle Editions one is new to me but the markings have been out before. I wonder why they felt a need to include it? Eagle Editions usually releases subjects that have been seen before whenever they have corrections to be made.

Regards and thanks,

Wonder where they got the info for the correction? :D

Mark Proulx, on the P-51 SIG site, states he did the research. Other than making it fit the Tamiya kit, I asked if there was anything he could tell me about the scheme.

Major John R. "Muscles" Bennett flew several aircraft, all coded HO*Y:

Serial #A/C TypeSquadronCodedPilotA/C NameComments

So the decal sheet seems to be of one not in my collection but also seems to be missing the Pistol Packin' Mama name.

Regards,

Well I'll be, I would have laid odds you were on the advisory board!

It's a nice clean scheme though...hmmm.
