From Chris of Inside the Armour:

Hi Guys,

I have news of a new release for you - 35010 (i) Improved Replacement Idlers for AFV Club Churchills

This is a set of two replacement idlers for all Marks of AFV Club Churchill featuring the inner rim lightening holes and inside edge rivet detail missing on AFV Club Idlers.

These were previously released as all resin items, but I was never quite happy with the thickness of the inner rim (which on the real thing is very thin, or the 'exactness' of the lightening holes. The new etched inner rim solves both problems.

This is a replacement turret for the AFV Club MkIV Turret to convert the MkIV into a MkV, The specific 95mm Close Support Churchill that replaced the elderly MkI and MkIcs in 1944.

The turret features correct squared mantlet apperture, reshaped for the MkV to allow the gun sight to operate at higher elevation for the howitzer, centrally located ventilator fan (again moved to allow more room for the larger sighting equipment required. Casting Marks based on a surviving example. Remodelled turret base (illustrating the elimination of the rear ventialtion overhang and adding the plate to cover the right side of the turret ring) and of course including a 95mm gun barrel

The conversion also includes a free Bonus Disc containing a walkaround of well over 100 high quality photos of the MkV Churchill at Overloon

This conversion is available now from Inside the Armour

Nice review Saul. Looks like very worthwhile enhancements to the kit. I like the idlers especially. Very cool.

Thanks James,

but this is simply a product announcement. A review will follow if and when I receive samples.

I do have a few PE reviews of ITA's PE sets.
