For anyone who has ordered Winfscales B-25 and had hopes for a 1/32 B-17, P-61, B-26, A26 etc here is some very unsettling news from Martin.

I imagine we will hear from the importers soon, so Sprue Bros etc

Not good. Not sure what Martin's role in the development was. I don't really understand the whole dynamics of the industry anyway.

I think Jerry Rutman said it best, just don't buy them when they come out.

Re: sad news for Wingscale (B-25)

As soon as I read the first few lines I thought to myself, They stole it out from under him.

Sorry to hear it but he should have known better because they rip off everything they get their hands on.

As soon as I read the headline "Sad News from Wingscale" I thought to myself, they've ripped him off.
When you don't pay attention to what's going on in the world that's what happens. This didn't happen to start in January it's been going on for years folks.

Re: sad news for Wingscale (B-25)

Hi all very sad news with what would appear a lot of hard work ,very sad to see .

Cheers Chris

Maybe that pretty known Winnie the Pooh line should be changed: "You never can tell with the bees... and the Chinese!". Sad story, but quite a common one. :( Hope things work out for Martin.

Cheers! B)

Shalom.

He's not the only one to have been ripped off by a model manufacturing company. Legends ripped off a fellow in Israel who had provided a great deal of expertise on many of their kits.

Cheers from Peter
