Now if someone comes out with a Canadian Mk V conversion I think I would jump at it.

Although a Mk VI looks good also.

Good luck on Trumpeter getting the B-24's right, at least the turreted nose version. There were so many variations that they filled a book Consolidated Mess Don't choke on the price ! :woohoo: Even used book sellers seem to want a lot for this one.

That's $20 a page.

I laugh at the prices some ask for books, especially only a few years out of print.

People were listing Fedorowicz's OOP Citadel for $800 for years, so I put mine out there for a while (basically new) and after about 2 years I eventually got $160 I think for it.

This is a neat kit that I have been waiting most impatiently for, as s the Zvezda offering (the only other T-80 in 1/35 scale at current..and no I do not count the SKIF) is supposed to be very inaccurate. the T-80, though not a popular tank amongst the Old Soviet empire is an important tank int he overall 'range' of Russian designed modern-era tanks. I am trying to get my T-72 complete so that as soon as it is available & in my hot little hands, I can start on it.

Trumpeter has a few other T-80s out already. I have built one and am working on a T-80B right now kind of.

T-80BV http://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/trp05566.htm
T-80BVD I got mine on ebay.
Also the Ukrainian upgraded T-84s, I have 1 but another version is out also.
And Xact made a T-80U which is supposed to be very good. I have one waiting for me. So lots of choices until this new one arrives.

Sorry to be bringing this one back around again...but here it is!

James, I am looking for the model "U" specifically, with it's odd 'cheek' armor that stands out at the lower portion of the turret, like up-turned flower petals. the test shots they posted on facebook recently also showed they had the "drozd" deterrent system mounted on the rear of the turret. so yep, that is what i am waiting for.
