The Compressor is heavy at 17.5 pounds, but is both smooth and very quiet, a real step up from the 2nd hand Badger Single cylinder w/out resevoir that I also have. Going to have to make sure MP's man-cave has heat first though

One thing you need to know and remember about that compressor, is that it will end up with water in the tank. Remember to drain it out often.

I have virtually the same compressor, I ended up having to replace the steel ball bearing in the check valve because it rusted and wouldn't hold air. It is located between the two cylinders at the top of the vertical tube down to the tank. Other than that my compressor also runs super quiet and does real well.

Well, I'm about a week or so late but I haven't had time to log in and post these earlier. These are my latest acquisitions from about a week or two ago.

First off are a bunch of paints, thinner and filler I got. There was a sale, and I did need a lot of green for my latest eight-wheeled Russian trucks:

Next are two models that I had on my list to get. First was Zvezda's T-15 Armata, the APC version of the T-14 Armata tank:

Once that is built; I'll have both Armatas in my Russian Army.

Next is a T-55 from Revell; this one with the cheek armor. I want to research this to see if these tanks were still in service in the East German Army during the reunification. If so, I want to make it with west German markings. Otherwise, it'll be Russian:

Finally this last one was bought from a friend. No, it is not in my preferred scale, but I got it to build for my SoCal AMPS club's Patton Group Build. Everyone is building Pattons for the next west coast Nationals and since the M-48 is my favorite tank, I'm gonna join the group build with this model:

Oh, I also got a Gotha Go-242 transport from another friend who was selling it but I didn't shoot any pic of it. Maybe I'll post that one later.

Thanks for looking in, I've been pretty busy in the Hobby Room so feel free to check out my Maddog Manufacturing.

Nice collection of bits.

Hence the disclaimer: "No, it is not in my preferred scale," LOL! I specifically asked for that so I could join my SoCal AMPS club's Patton build. It will be the only 1/35th scale tank I build and keep, unless i find another Patton variant that strikes my fancy while the Patton Build is going on.

Thanks for the compliment and reply. Now back to the bench....

A good day today. Got the new Neo Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf.N. Its a new version of the Dragon kit including the interior. Looks like part of the interior is from the stug kits. Metal shields and colourful paint scheme print. The tracks are also a new version in a link and length type construction. Whats cool is they also give you 2 guides to build the top of the left and right runs. Looks like fun. Of course its also a great spares kit as there are a lot of parts from various versions. Also got an interesting book on the Krupp company. Spans from 1587 to the collapse of the company in 1968. Looking forward to reading this book. And I also got a Kfz 70 with 7,62 cm F.K. 39 (r) gun. I also got a great brush cleaning container that seals tight and has a strainer. Very nice.

Some nice stiff James!

That book, by William Manchester, was published in 1969. I read it in the 1970s and again in the 1980s. Fantastic book! I absolutely loved it! So much history of Germany!

I'm sure you will enjoy reading it!

Bob

How cool are those Saul! Nice! I wish they could be replicated in 1/72 scale too. I can imagine a ton of stuff I'd love to do in that scale with things like these.
