Just the immidiate family for thanksgiving.

So no one wants to make the trek to COLD, DARK, DREARY, OPPRESSIVE, Vermont this year for Thanksgiving. Normally we get a pretty good crowd. So I think this calls for a menu change, any suggestions? :dance

No turkey? :blink :blink :frantic

Someone put a request in for a fried turkey breast so I'll have to break out the cookers.

We use to feed masses with the Low Country Boil. Literally served over a thousand people at one party. Boiled it up and dumped it on tables that were lined with news paper and folks just stood around picking out what they wanted. I wouldn't suggest that inside...:rotf

Recipes vary, I like to brown the sausage in the pot before adding water. But the sequence is good on this one. This one doesn't call for onion, you add that with the potato and let them cook into everything.

That IS different!

I do it like mom and my Mother Dora did. Just time and don't burn it or Mother Dora would come after you with the yard stick. :good:
