and note that there is a 'towable' (?) version in the back. I guess it's available for parties?

I think you can do it Bruce, not really scratch building more like kit bashing.

A little digging on the web and a link to another site says it is in Saladin province, north of Baghdad. The truck looks like it belongs to Rivenes AS, a Norwegian contractor.

ldguy looks like a Mercedes-Benz-Actros?.... only kit is in 1/32 scale
and there are 1/32 t-55's out there ,
Not the best detailed models , some scratching is needed.

A most interesting vehicle by far. As for the 'towed' version behind; it looks like it has exhaust pipes along the side of this; like some kind of street racer.
