I haven't tried wet blending Prisma Colors, but these may have possibilities in regards to matching specific colors.
 
I have water colour pencils that I have used. I'm pretty sure I mentioned them here before. They are like normal pencil crayons but can be blended or washed off.

I have seen them used to great effect for wood grain etc. Probably be cheaper also.
