Oliphant Mk 1B/2

Okay I have an answer. In recent acquisitions I showed the new HobbyBoss Oliphant Mk 1B. I was wondering why it was labled that while the colour scheme page has it as a Mk 2. The Mk 2 improves on the 1B with a new engine (you wont see it in the kit), and a new target detection and engagement system. That is visable. Its the big box by the commanders cupola. So I am thinking you might be able to model a 1B easily while the kit is a Mk 2.

Hi there on my Facebook search for an person called Charley Deale he is not only a well known master modeler in SA but also an Olifant tank commander so he will be able to give you all the details you would ever want.

Update I. Have chatted with Charlie and shared his info with you on FB James he said he will help you with pleasure.

There's a tank I've never heard of!

Do you plan to build this one soon James?
I'm not sure. I'm building a Pz IIB, SA-11, and SA-6 at the moment. I really want to do a cruiser A-10 and the SS-21 soon also. But the size and shape of this have me intrigued.
