"Heroism's Higher Call"

Diorama based on the shoot down of the Blackhawk helicopter, Super 64, during "Operation: Gothic Serpent". It's at the point Delta snipers MSG Gary Gordon and SFC Randy Shughart (both posthumously award the MOH for their actions that day) initially securing the are with CWO3 Mike Durant (Super 64 pilot). I used a lot of excerpts/descriptions from Mike Durants book "In The Company of Heroes", to detail the scene, based on his recollection that day.

The helo is an Academy kit upgraded to represent am MH-60. All three figures are highly modified Dragon/DML pieces. Base has been replicated using pics of the crash site.
