Howdy from Kentucky!

Hello, my name is Tim and I live across from Cincinnati in northern Kentucky.
I've been modelling of and on for many years, but only just one helicopter has been built.
My work schedule is very hectic so I don't get to model much. My interests are mainly 1/35 scale helicopters, especially H-60 blackhawks.
I was a UH-60 helicopter mechanic/maintenance crew chief in the 82nd Airborne Division during the mid 80's.
I stumbled across this website while looking at largescaleplanes.com and decided to join.
This is a pretty cool site and I'll be a regular visitor from now on.
I really love the campaign ribbons. Those are way cool!
I'd love to get the helicopter campaign ribbon, but what do I have to do?
Anyway, hello all!

Clear up right!
Tim

Welcome! To claim a campaign ribbon, you just need to start a thread in the appropriate campaign with photos of the unstarted, unbuilt kit with a timestamp or something showing the date that falls within the campaign. When you complete the build (prior to the deadline), you can claim your ribbon. Post your progress as you go along, more fun that way. :drinks

The ribbon you referred to was for Charlie Don't Surf, a completed campaign from a couple years ago. Never fear however, Deja Vu All Over Again campaign will allow you to claim that ribbon. Here's a link to the rules from the Charlie campaign. https://www.modelersalliance.com/forum/charlie-dont-surf/17804-the-nam-rules

Post your start thread here. https://www.modelersalliance.com/forum/deja-vu-all-over-again

Good luck! :drinks

Welcome Tim ... Looking forward to you work ... I just started a build in the recon campaign ... look at 1st post kinda do it like that or you can take photos using your camera, with your smart phone on the official time located at the bottom of each page ... :woohoo: :ro: :dude :woohoo:

Thanks for all the welcomes guys!
Dio, nope no moonshine up here in northern ky. Besides, I don't drink, I'm a preacher in my church.

I've started my MH-60M build on a couple of other sites, so I'll have to start a thread soon on it.

Clear up right!
Tim
