Hi Gang,

Stumbled onto this site today and plan to stay for awhile.
I recognize a lot of the work and screen names on here from the other sites.

Im primarily an aircraft builder, WW2, although my stash has ships, a tank, cars and a Gundam.
I prefer 1/32 but will build what ever scale my subject comes in.

Welcome to the Alliance Shawn. Like Bob said join up for some of the campaigns. That is a very nice Corsair by the way. Was that the old Revell kit?

Yeah that's the tried and true ol revell kit.
The cockpit and engine are so weak I used the tarp and run method.
Spent a lot of time scratch building gear wells and gear details on that.

I've got a 1/32 A4F (Hase) on the bench and an F-14 Egg plane to finish up before I start the next victi...build. Another oldy Revell Dora.

The gundam was a total impulse buy...looked to cool to pass on.
I plan on going a little over the top with it..maybe even a diorama.

Speaking of dioramas, just received 10 1/144 P-40's to build my first dio with.
They're so freaking small.....Im afraid if I sneeze I'll lose a stabilizer.

Thx Ian, I love forts of all flavors, however once i started the research on the 100 Group I HAD to build one.

Saul, thanks for that info man! Exactly what I needed. You're gonna laugh but I needed that for a 1/144 scale dio I'm planning.
