The LCVP made by Italeri (and others, I would think). Besides the obvious of troops, what was the largest load it could carry?

Jeeps/Half tracks/Armored car (M8)?

Light Armor (Stuart)?

Medium Armor (Sherman?)

Really curious....thanks for the info!
 
Wiki said 6,000 lb vehicle. I'm pretty sure the Sherman weighed more than 6k. Think they had landing craft build just for heavy hardware. The Higgins was not one.
 
LCM 3 for tanks, half tracks, armor cars, trucks etc

Yep, looks like an LCM3 is what I was thinking of. I see that Trumpeter actually makes one, now just need to pick a subject to go in it

Late 2019 subject to start gathering stuff for?
