Tamiya M60A3 reviews?

I searched here and got zero results for Tamiya M60A3 Reviews. I want to build this for a Gulf War 1991 tank but would like to read a review or more of the kit. Knowing Tamiya I expect that it's their old M60A1 kit with a new gun tube and perhaps some new parts. The kit I'm talking about is number 35140. Anyone here know where I can find a review of this kit? Btw, Google was no help either. I did see that on Scalemates they said the kit is based on the old Tamiya M60A2 kit.

Thanks and cheers

Here is a review and the instructions if that will help.

And some other info for you. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/130072-tamiya-35140-m60a3

Takom is coming out with some kits also.

Thanks James.

Scalemates is the first place I look for a review. Seems from what I've been reading elsewhere that Tamiya corrected the turret shape on their M60A3 kit but did NOT correct anything on the lower hull which still dates from the original M1A1 release. Ah well, I'm not looking to build a museum replica just something that looks the part. Perhaps I'll just stick the Tamiya M60A3 turret on one of my old Esci hulls as recommended by others. At least with the Tamiya A3 variant I'l have the right pattern tracks for my project.

Takom make nice kits but they're way over engineered for my needs/wants and I detest PE parts.

Cheers

end of month or first of next, Takom will have out their M50A1 with Blazer armor, I am anxiously awaiting it! you may wanna wait and take a look at it
