Spokes

Has anyone any experience of cutting out the plastic spokes on a M/C wheel and replacing with to scale wire ?
I wonder if its a bit beyond my level TBH. Looking at my latest project Italeri triumph 350 despatch bike, the spokes measure just over 1mm which in 1:9 scale would make near 10mm spokes and 5mm would be nearer the mark ( half the thickness) It could be a complete nightmare but would make a world of difference to the look of the thing.

Alex De Leon did it here.

Can't wait to see you tackle this. :popcorn

Thanks MP
I dont think i could scratch build from nothing. My thinking now is to build the wheels as per the kit then replace the spokes one by one to avoid having to build jigs to reassemble the hub to rim etc. I need to experiment with making some spokes :)

Alex has built a lot of these bikes so I suspect he has the jigs pretty handy. Amazing what he can do with the stuff we use to fill gaps.
