Paint help for my AMX-30 MBT

Ok- so I am nearing the paint stage for my Bosnian AMX-30. After picking up two books and perusing as much online content as I could, the only thing I could really deduce was that hey received their tanks from the UAE and that the schemes are supposedly the tricolor NATO scheme only faded.

What I am wondering though is possibly I'd like to paint an undercoat of the color used by the UAE under the NATO scheme...anyone know what that might be? Is it just desert camo? Inquiring minds want to know ;)

The AMX 30s were painted a Nato scheme but the French colours are slightly different than the Nato colour standardization. Might I suggest Ammo of Migs Modern French set http://shop.lastcavalry.com/ammo-of-mig-modern-french-armed-forces-colors/

Jeeves, I think your on the right track. The UAE equipment looks to have been painted French desert colors. James suggestion of the Ammo of Mig set is the way I would go.

Thanks guys-- I was wondering about the under scheme for the desert colors. I'm actually not doing the French scheme- but a Bosnian tank done in the NATO scheme inherited from the UAE which would've probably been a desert scheme? I already have the NATO colors bought...just trying to think of having an undertone of desert to use to help weather...
