A couple of things regarding the Marines at Hue, if I may.

The helmets are on backwards. We took that chin strap and affixed it on the rear of the helmet. That way it wouldn't fall into our faces if it came undone. The bands around the base of the helmet were dk gray rubber. The actual helmet cover was a lighter shade of green and after time hardly no camo pattern could be distinguished. Mine disintegrated over the years.

The flak jackets should be a slight bit darker. They attracted dirt and sometimes looked almost black.

That square canteen on the standing fellow is way to modern for VN.

The e tool cover would be more olive green/khaki as would the cartridge belt and canteen covers and backpacks during that time period.

Rifles shoud be a dark gray on the metal and nearly black on the handguards and butt stock. Magazines were a slightly greenish steel gray color.

The color of the jungle utilities are real close to correct. realize to the kneeling fellow is wearing a T shirt under the flak jacket. That'd be olive green for sure.
