Nice kit. I pulled mine out again and will see whats left to finish it. Hopefully your build will encourage me :)

Bit of the interior done- found a nice walk-around on Armorama...

Please, post the link! I love all kinds of wheeled armor.

here are a few, maybe new to you, walk around photo sets:

Always good to look around more ;)

Thanks Bob and Dave! Yeah there's no doubt this one's a beast!

Coming along nicely. I dont think anything in my build would be of use except maybe the wheel hubs I had to modify but here it is.

And where I stumbled earlier....as much as I thought I had the cabin area all aligned, when I went to add the top, I ran into this--

And this gap where there isn't supposed to be one....

I am up for suggestions....was thinking of trimming the front plate so it fits the gap.... :idonno

And just for kicks and giggles...a size comparison with the Hummer....

Oh and thanks James....yes- those wheels are just set in there for now so I will do my fixes as per yours ;)

Not having the kit not sure what to tell you here. almost looks like those side panels are not aligned correctly. Looks like a complex area to work in. I you can pull it apart, clean up the seams and try again, dry fitting along the way and see if that helps. If not, back fill it but then you may end up with more trouble down the road.

Worked it out-- I was able to realign the base and pry it apart enough to get the front close enough to gap fill using melted sprue. Worked a treat and the windshield cover helps cover the hard to reach spots to sand.

Now- I decided to go a different route to fix the problems James mentioned with the tire valve not lining up with the hub cover hole Takom provided. I went with the KISS method because I was worried with filling the incorrect hole, I'd mess up aligning the spit needed for the new hole. So...I just removed the four pegs that Takom provided...

Then added glue to the hub...

And glued the cover right to it...there may be a very slight difference in height- since I basically removed a half mm- but at least you can now see the valve through the hole...although not in the pic I took ;)

I will take another later...
