Ok, so, since it is a small model, and not overly complex, I obviously had to wait to the last minute to start it. LOL. Anyway, here is the starting pic. Hopefully you can see the date there. 1/7/13.

Update time. With my SB2C-3 done and off the bench, I can dive right into this one. Over the last two days, I was able to get a little work done. I decided to go with the classic red/white two tone paint job. After researching it, I found the interior should be white, body color red, and then a darker red. And Chrome. LOTS of chrome. So this is what I have so far. Still havent decided if I am going to paint and detail the chassis. Its a one piece and no engine. So I'm leaning towards leaving it black since I dont like people touching my models anyway. "oh look, he spent hours getting the paint just right. Lets look at the bottom and put a nice thumb print on the door. dur dur dur". Anyway, here are progress shots.

interesting painting technique. Then again, lot easier painting that dash board while it's not installed ain't it? :popcorn

What are you using for Chrome?

Yeah, on this one it just has to be painted in steps. So everything was masked and painted. Masking the dash wasn't easy. The chrome is actually Testors Chrome Silver. With the interior done, its time to start the body work.

Well, the body is painted, and if I can get some time to finish the chrome work, its done. I have half the chrome done, then its just putting the final little touches on. Oh...and respraying the roof. :(

Rob that paint work looks great!!! Can't wait to see this done.

Well, This has been finished a while now, but I'm just finally getting round to posting pictures of it. I can't remember if I finished within the time frame or not.
