It builds up nice but will drive you crazy with it's tail sitting!
If you need some clues look up my build on this beastie!

Cheers !!

According to what I read...yes. Ought to be fun...but I'll follow Phil's lead...

plan your weighting early! pack weights into it in any space forward of the gear legs, even some in the spinner caps, trust me you will thank me later!

I had a huge cylindrical metal weight left over from Tamiya's Do335a, I hack sawed that in half and Ca glued them onto the engine nacelles thinking this would suffice - it needed much more!

Gary (old Dog) also built the same kit, he also may be able to help you with the weight positions

Enjoy the kit - even with it's issues I really enjoyed putting this one together.

I'm not too worried about that as I have no shelf space to display it...this one will be hanging from the ceiling...

OK-- Office is well on it's way to being done...I just have the panel set in for now as I am planning on adding wiring to the back of the panel since it is begging for it...

Also have some weathering to do to bring the shininess down....

Pretty nice detail in this kit....really really like it...might try to weigh things down anyways just so I have the option of having it on the shelf...

It is a real nice kit for sure. I believe Bill Koster did the research and it was molded in Korea. Lead weights from the fishing supply store will do nicely.

Cool...very interesting! Was this from the Discovery series "Wings"? Used to love watching that!

A quick shot of the wiring behind the instrument panel-- and the first of some heavy duty clamping ;)

Well-- out of the three builds I am doing, this one has the chance of not being finished in time...taking my time to make sure everything fits right and such...

I finally got through all the masking and painting on this baby-- I know there is a little over spray, but it is what it is ;) Spent all day yesterday cutting the masks for the braunviolet...going to lay down the Future later today and then decals!
