Call to Arms Rules

Rules:

[li]Donation must be made prior to starting your build. Do not start your build until after the start date. You may make your donation prior to start date if you wish.[/li]

[li]When submitting your donation, include your forum user name and the subject you are building. If your donation is covering multiple builds, list all those builds or you may not be credited correctly.[/li]
[li]Start a new thread under the CTA forum with your Username and Subject. Please post the customary start photo of your unbuilt entry with time-stamp, build starts after point one is confirmed[/li]
[li]Since this is a special campaign to raise funds for a good cause we will NOT make exemptions with the entry fee.[/li]
[li]The campaign ribbon will be provided to members at the start of their build.[/li][li]Start date is Oct 1, 2012. End date is Jan 31, 2013. All times are local to your location.[/li]
[li]Only completed builds will be entered for prize drawings so keep in mind your time limit.[/li]
[li]Completed builds are defined as completing the model to the best of your ability, no "shake and bakes" or minimal efforts will be accepted.[/li]
[li]There will not be a time extension granted - start in time, finish in time. All times are local to your location.[/li]
[li]The prizes will be awarded by random drawing at the completion of the campaign. You may enter as many times as you wish but only completed builds will be added to the drawings. If you enter 4 times, and only complete 3, then your name will be in the pool three times.[/li]



[li]Respect the established rules of Modelers' Alliance.[/li]
[li]All decisions are made by the management of Modelers' Alliance and their delegates. All decisions are final.[/li]

ok, we donate and decide on a model but what if we change our mind for whatever reason, can we change the model we want to build prior to start? And would that require an additional donation?

Sure you can change your mind, just let us know.
Course you can always donate again ...but it wouldn't be required just to change your mind.

Since this is effectively, a fund raiser to fight cancer and not a model contest, I would hope everyone keeps that thought in mind. Prize winners will be selected at random from the completed builds, so build something to be proud of and enjoy the process.

Updating the rules.

Each entry thread should be titled in this format.

"CTA Entry (username) (subject)"

example.

Please do not change the title as the thread goes on as this will help us sort and search the forum for your builds. We do not need to have full detail of your subject in the title of your build thread. The Moderators will be glad to assist in making any changes if simple mistakes happen, free of charge of course.

When Completions are entered. Please only post one image of your completed build and a link back to your build thread. Please refrain from commenting on the completion thread. Make any comments you wish on the build threads if you wish. Any post other than completed entries will be moved or deleted depending on the mood of the management.
